Duties


The Admin Specialist NF-3 provides discretionary executive support to upper-level management, with a primary emphasis on executing rigorous quality control, proofreading, and editing of official Navy and Marine Corps correspondence to ensure absolute grammatical and formatting compliance. Coordinates and provides a wide variety of responsible administrative functions in support of upper-level management requiring a substantial level of judgment, experience, and discretion. Provides discretionary administrative support to upper management. Handles confidential matters, screens incoming communications/visitors, and resolves routine information requests. Drafts, reviews, and manages sensitive or confidential communications, screens visitors, and resolves complex inquiries using substantial judgment and experience. Receives, proofs, and distributes directives, orders (e.g., MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN, SecNav/OpNav), and Standard Operating Proceduress. Maintains master files and ensures grammatical and formatting accuracy. Establishes suspense dates to collect responses and submits information. Assists with the MCCS Forms Management Program. Supports the Records Manager by filing documents in SharePoint and MCTILM, ensuring full compliance with USMC regulations. Collects, compiles, and organizes information and data to meet administrative requirements. Uses a personal computer to transmit correspondence, create reports, databases, spreadsheets, graphics, slide shows, and presentations.

Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Delivers proactive, courteous problem resolution. Solves customer issues promptly and escalates complex problems to the appropriate higher-level supervisor. Strictly adheres to EEO principles, harassment prevention policies, and safety regulations. EVALUATIONS:


Qualifications



Three years of experience that demonstrate a broad knowledge of administrative practices and principles. Drafting and routing Naval correspondence for up to General Officer-level signature and review is preferred. Experience that demonstrates skill to organize and coordinate high visibility projects is required. Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Knowledge of Marine Corps chain of command and familiarity with the MCCS mission, structure, and core functions of MCCS subordinate divisions preferred. Skill to operate a personal computer and associated peripheral equipment and software required. Must possess a valid driver¿s license.

This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required
