Payroll/HR Specialist (on-site)

  • Minimum of  3 – 5 years of progressive experience in Payroll and Human Resources within a banking or professional environment. 
  • Responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll, maintaining payroll records, and supporting HR functions including benefits administration and personnel file management. 
  • Experience processing payroll weekly timecards through ADP or similar systems, reviewing discrepancies such as overtime and absences, and balancing payroll registers required. 
  • Must have experience maintaining employee deductions including taxes, 401(k), and benefits, preparing payroll journal entries, and reconciling monthly benefit invoices (e.g., medical, dental, insurance providers). 
  • Responsible for assisting employees with payroll and benefits inquiries, maintaining personnel files, and preparing monthly/and as needed reports for management. 
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and mathematical skills required, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with knowledge of PowerPoint preferred. 
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
