Social Media On-Camera Intern
Job description:
Expand a Bed is a direct-to-consumer furniture brand, and we're looking for another college intern to be the on-camera face of our social media content this summer.
This isn't a "write captions and schedule posts" internship. You'll be creating and appearing in short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram — skits, lifestyle clips, and humor-driven content. If you've ever thought you'd be good at this kind of content, this is your chance to get paid to prove it!
What you'll do:
- Create and star in short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram
- Bring concepts to life on camera with real personality and timing
- Film on your phone — no studio or equipment required
- Collaborate with us on creative direction and ideas
What we're looking for:
- Currently enrolled in college
- Access to a twin or twin XL bed — required, as our product fits this size
- Based in a dorm room setting for filming — we want authentic, real content and strongly prefer candidates who can film in that environment
- Genuinely comfortable and natural on camera
- Theater, drama, improv, or musical theater background strongly preferred
- Self-directed and creative
- Strong opinions about what makes content actually work
The details:
- $30/hour
- 100% remote — work from wherever you are
- Flexible schedule
