About BetterCampus

• BetterCampus is the student-built Chrome extension transforming how students experience their learning platform.

About the Program

• An 8-week summer training program where you learn to make short-form content (TikTok / Reels / Shorts) from the ground up — alongside other student creators from across the country.
• The focus is learning, not hitting a video quota. You'll show up, try things, post stuff, and get real feedback.
• Light commitment: ~3–5 hrs/week, including weekly live trainings (recordings if you miss one).
• The bar is simple: show up and finish the training, and you unlock the rewards.

What You'll Do & Learn

• Attend weekly live trainings on hooks, scripting, filming, and editing for short-form
• Make and post content, then iterate based on feedback from our team
• Learn how creators actually grow — and build a real portfolio of work
• Collaborate with a community of student creators and our founders

What We're Looking For

• Curiosity and consistency — you try things, learn fast, and actually finish what you start
• Comfortable (or down to get comfortable) talking to a camera like you're texting a friend
• An eye for what makes content fun, relatable, or worth watching
• Reliable communication and good vibes in a small, fast-moving team
• No prior content experience required — we'll teach you

Minimum Requirements

• Currently a college student or recent grad (roughly 18–22 — we're flexible, just mention it)
• Able to commit ~3–5 hrs/week for the full 8 weeks (including weekly trainings)
• Reliable internet + a phone that can shoot decent video
• Based in the U.S. (trainings are live; we'll work around time zones)

Bonus Points

• You already post content or have socials you can show off (any size — we care about taste, not follower count)
• You already use BetterCampus / BetterCanvas (or your school uses Canvas)
• You have ideas for content that'd actually help students
• You're comfortable being on camera
