About the Position
The Office of International Employment at Texas State University is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented student to serve as a work-study Student Assistant. This position supports the operations of the department.
Responsibilities
- File, scan, and organize documents and files
- Assist with data entry and maintaining records
- Run on-campus errands as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Texas State University student with a work-study award for the summer or fall semester
- Strong communication skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
- Basic experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes

Work Schedule
- 10-15 hours per week, scheduled between 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday
- Schedule will be arranged around class times and other time commitments
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled at Texas State University
- Must have a valid Federal or State Work-Study award for the summer or fall semester
- Must maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by Texas State University
