Immigration Paralegal

Peterson Immigration seeks a disciplined and service-oriented immigration paralegal to join its employment-based practice located in Minneapolis, with the opportunity to work remotely in a hybrid environment. Join a team that delivers high quality immigration legal service to clients including leading medical systems, multinational corporations, and world-renown researchers. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with attorneys to prepare a variety of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions on behalf of employers and foreign nationals including J-1 waivers, H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM, I-140 (NIW, EB-1/A, EB-1/B), and I-485 petitions.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Organize and manage confidential client data, deadlines, and documents.
• Conduct legal research as needed to support case preparation.
• Monitor and track case progress to ensure timely filings and/or responses to USCIS.
• Assist attorneys and other team members with case management, including reporting needs and other case management duties as needed.

The estimated starting pay starts at $50,000/year dependent on experience, skills, education, professional background, and overall qualifications.
