Location: Remote, with occasional travel to the New York Office.

National Healthcare Properties is currently seeking a qualified intern to join its in-house legal department for a paid fall and/or spring internship position.
Position and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of General Counsel and paralegal, the intern will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the following areas:
- Public company matters, including preparation of SEC filings, board meeting materials and governance policy updates.
- Commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing.
- General corporate matters, including subsidiary management, vendor contract review and employment law issues.
- Provide support on special projects and senior management requests.
Qualifications:
- Must have completed his/her 1L year of law school
- Ideally have previous legal assistant or paralegal experience
- Knowledge of real estate transactions
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
Compensation: $20 per hour. 20 to 40 hours a week.
