Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources while working alongside experienced HR professionals? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist Intern to support our Human Resources team and gain exposure to a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, and compliance.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a career in Human Resources to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting while developing valuable skills and industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, scheduling interviews, and applicant tracking.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist with HR projects, reporting, and data management.
- Help coordinate employee engagement and training initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for various HR programs and activities.
- Research HR-related topics and assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Support compliance efforts and other general HR functions as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Compensation
- Undergraduate Students: $18.00 per hour
- Graduate Students: $20.00 per hour
