Marketing Analytics & Tracking Specialist

We are looking for a part-time Junior Marketing Analytics & Tracking Assistant to help implement, QA, and maintain conversion tracking and client reporting dashboards across medical marketing campaigns.

This role will support tracking setup across Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads, CallRail, WordPress/Elementor forms, and reporting dashboards. You will help ensure that phone calls, form submissions, Google Ads conversions, campaign IDs, GCLIDs, and lead source data are captured accurately and organized into clean reporting files/dashboards.

Responsibilities include:
- Set up and test GA4 events and Google Ads conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager.
- QA form submission tracking, thank-you page tracking, phone click tracking, and call tracking.
- Review CallRail exports and help classify calls by source, campaign, duration, caller type, and lead quality.
- Clean and organize marketing data in Google Sheets/Excel using formulas, pivot tables, and lookup logic.
- Help build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio and/or Power BI.
- Match Google Ads calls and form submissions to campaigns using GCLID, campaign ID, UTMs, and CallRail data where available.
- Identify tracking gaps, duplicate events, missing attribution, and discrepancies between GA4, Google Ads, and CallRail.
- Maintain documentation for tracking setups, KPI definitions, QA tests, and reporting logic.
- Support reporting across multiple specialties, websites, and campaign types.

Required skills:
- Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager.
- Working knowledge of GA4 events, conversions, source/medium, campaigns, and DebugView.
- Basic understanding of Google Ads conversion tracking.
- Strong Google Sheets or Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, filters, and basic formulas.
- Experience building dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI, or a similar BI/reporting tool.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow QA processes carefully.
- Comfortable working with messy data and reconciling numbers across multiple platforms.

Nice to have:
- Experience with CallRail or other call tracking platforms.
- Experience with WordPress and Elementor forms.
- Basic SQL or BigQuery knowledge.
- Experience with Supermetrics, Funnel.io, Zapier, Make, or similar data connectors.
- Experience in healthcare, medical, or lead generation marketing.
- Understanding of UTMs, GCLID, campaign attribution, and lead source tracking.

The ideal person is detail-oriented, organized, curious, and comfortable testing/debugging tracking issues. This is not just a dashboard design role — the person needs to help make sure the underlying tracking and data are accurate before reports are built.
