JSpecial Education Teacher (Houston, TX)

Pay Rate starting at $45/hr depending on experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher capable of supporting elementary students in a Resource classroom setting. You will also provide Push-in and Pull-out services for a caseload of approximately 20 students.  Our Special Education teachers work with students who have a wide range of learning, cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities.  This is a fantastic opportunity with a school that seeks to provide meaningful educational opportunities for students and a positive environment for teachers and students alike.  

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, patience, and the ability to create a supportive learning environment tailored to each student’s unique needs. Experience in special education is necessary, and candidates should be prepared to collaborate with a team to implement individualized learning plans and provide essential support for students.

Requirements


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (Masters Preferred)


  • Texas Teaching Certificate in the area of Special Education


  • Capable of handling caseloads of 15-20 students
