School-Based ABA Supervisor

Position Summary

ABRITE is seeking a passionate and experienced School-Based Behavior Specialist to join our team. This leadership role focuses on supporting students with behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs through the implementation and oversight of evidence-based interventions in educational settings.

Working collaboratively with educators, administrators, related service providers, families, and behavior interventionists, the School-Based Behavior Specialist will help develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans that promote student success across school environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, training, and ongoing support to behavior interventionists and school personnel.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), behavioral observations, and other assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop, implement, supervise, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and student-specific behavioral protocols.
  • Develop, measure, and modify IEP goals with a focus on behavioral, social-emotional, adaptive, and functional replacement skills.
  • Monitor student progress through data collection, analysis, and ongoing program evaluation.
  • Collaborate with ABRITE's education teams, special service providers, and school district personnel to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Train teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff in evidence-based behavioral strategies and intervention techniques.
  • Maintain regular communication with families, school administrators, and educational teams regarding student progress and behavioral programming.
  • Ensure services are implemented with fidelity and aligned with district and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of school-based experience implementing behavioral interventions and/or supervising programs for students with special education needs.
  • Experience conducting behavioral assessments and developing intervention plans.
  • Experience training and supporting school staff and families.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fingerprint background clearance.
  • Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.

Preferred

  • Current BCBA certification strongly preferred.
  • Completion of ABA coursework at the university level.
  • Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple school districts and educational teams.
  • Interest in mentorship, leadership development, and program innovation.
