The company is looking for a self-starter who can work independently, identify opportunities for growth, and take ownership of both the company's online presence and short-term rental operations.
Position Summary
The Social Media & Airbnb Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the company's social media platforms, creating engaging content, enhancing brand awareness, and overseeing daily operations of Airbnb and short-term rental properties. This individual will play a key role in increasing occupancy, improving guest experiences, and supporting the company's continued growth.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Marketing
- Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including photos, videos, property showcases, and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Track performance metrics and provide recommendations to increase reach, engagement, and lead generation.
- Coordinate content creation, photography, and video marketing efforts.
- Assist with branding initiatives and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to increase visibility and market presence.
- Manage online reviews and reputation management efforts.
Airbnb & Short-Term Rental Management
- Oversee daily operations of Airbnb and short-term rental properties.
- Manage property listings and ensure descriptions, pricing, and photos remain accurate and competitive.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, reservation requests, and guest concerns.
- Coordinate guest check-ins, check-outs, and communication throughout their stay.
- Monitor occupancy rates and implement strategies to maximize bookings and revenue.
- Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, and vendors to ensure properties are guest-ready.
- Handle guest issues and resolve concerns quickly and professionally.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing.
- Ensure properties meet company standards and provide exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, hospitality, property management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and content creation strategies.
- Experience managing Airbnb or other short-term rental platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media management tools.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation software.
- Experience with Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of property management and real estate operations.
- Experience with photography, videography, or content development.
