## Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator ensures that all merchandise entering and leaving our warehouse meets our commercial and quality standards. You will be the bridge between our inventory systems, warehouse associates, and freight networks, representing our company’s operational excellence.
## Key Responsibilities
📦 Shipping & Order Fulfillment
- Order Management: Prioritize and print approved wholesale order picklists; audit and verify picked counts against inventory systems.
- Freight & LTL Coordination: Compare shipping quotes, negotiate prices with local drivers, and schedule non-local LTL shipments. Prepare bills of lading (BOL), pallet labels, and packing slips.
- Small Parcel Shipping: Utilize ShipStation to generate quotes for the wholesale team and assist the eCommerce clerk with daily shipping and product labels.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect outbound pallets for proper wrapping and condition; document and photograph high-value parcels/pallets to ensure pristine delivery.
📝 Operations & Administration
- Data & Order Adjustment: Update invoices and packing manifests for any shortages or order adjustments; manage documentation for wholesale pick-ups.
- Vendor & Carrier Communication: Coordinate with freight dispatchers regarding delivery appointments and specialized services (lift gates, residential delivery, etc.).
- Claims Management: Document and file freight indemnity claims for transit damages, shortages, or losses.
- eCommerce Catalog Support: Assist in creating and editing product listings on our internal site for accurate representation.
📥 Receiving & Inventory Control
- Inbound Inspection: Count and verify received merchandise from inbound containers against manifests.
- Compliance & Tracking: Document expiration dates for food/sauce items and track lot numbers for cosmetic products.
- Discrepancy Reporting: Audit and report differences in inventory, barcodes, net contents, or case quantities directly to the buying team.
## Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (Open to all majors; Supply Chain, Business, or International Trade is a plus).
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics environment preferred (including relevant internships).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (must know functions like VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH). Experience with ShipStation is a plus.
- Language: Professional fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US.
🏋️ Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs occasionally to inspect merchandise and pallets.
## Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 / hour (Based on experience)
- Job Type: Full-time, In-person
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Flexible/negotiable based on circumstances). Includes paid breaks and lunch.
