Work Type: Onsite
Shift: Monday – Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Occasional weekends as needed)
Summary:
The Scientist I – R&D will support analytical testing and product development activities within a pharmaceutical laboratory environment. This role involves testing raw materials, finished products, and stability samples, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as cGMP and GLP. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, hands-on lab experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Test and release raw materials and finished products in support of internal product development.
- Test stability samples in support of internal product development.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 0-1 years and an advanced degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's Degree is a must.
- An experienced professional with an understanding of analytical development and the ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- CGMP and GLP knowledge.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical lab environment.
- Knowledge in Analytical Chemistry.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Previous knowledge and experience with HPLC, LC-MS, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis is preferred.
- Ability to work in a lab environment and lift no more than 25 pounds.
- Assist with lab safety, ordering and lab cleanup.
