Sales and Marketing Intern
GRS Recruiting is looking for a motivated, curious, and driven Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship is designed to provide real-world exposure to the tools, systems, and strategies used to support a modern B2B sales and recruiting organization.
This is not a “sit back and observe” internship. You’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside an experienced team while building practical skills that translate directly into future sales, marketing, recruiting, and business careers.
The role is primarily remote, though candidates must be located in the Cleveland or Akron area for initial onboarding/training and occasional team events.
What You’ll Learn & Experience
We’ll provide an internship experience that gives you exposure to the marketing tools and strategies used to support and grow a B2B sales force — then help tailor areas of concentration based on your individual interests and career goals.
Here’s a sample of what you can expect to do:
- Learn how to effectively use a variety of email, text, and social media marketing platforms
- Develop and grow your own professional LinkedIn network
- Learn effective online research and prospecting methods
- Participate in GRS database management and reporting updates
- Support marketing and recruiting initiatives through organized data management
- Learn how to professionally engage in online and phone conversations with potential clients and industry leaders
- Gain exposure to real-world business communication and relationship-building strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to work a consistent schedule of approximately 20 hours per week
- Availability for a minimum 10-week internship period
- Current college student (Junior or Senior standing only)
- Pursuing a degree in:
- Business
- Communications
- Marketing
- Journalism
- English
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn new skills
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
