Lead Software Engineer

AIPSO, a corporation in Johnston, RI, seeks Lead Software Engineer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop practical automation recommendation, design, code, test, implement     automated systems to meet client needs

• Revise existing programs to increase operational efficiency & meet new needs

• Design & administer training, lead project teams

• Recommend systems, designs, platforms, tools

• Oversee test plans & implementation

• Perform post-project analyses to confirm compliance w/ client needs

• Remote work permitted

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, plus 7 years related professional experience, inclusive of 2 years experience in systems analysis & design, with a significant role in 1 or more major systems development projects. 

Skills & Knowledge:

Proficiency in front & back-office technology including data communications, client-server technologies, database administration & networking, SQL Server, Excel, & Microsoft Office productivity tools required. 

Hiring Range: $147,680 - $161,000 Annual.  Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
