Interior Design Intern

Interior Design, Product Development & Marketing Intern

Location: Norwood, MA
Compensation: $15/hour
Schedule: 10–15 hours per week (flexible around class schedules)

About Lousso Designs

Lousso Designs is a custom furniture and upholstery company specializing in residential and commercial furnishings, including banquettes, custom cushions, pillows, upholstered walls, and made-to-order furniture.

We work with homeowners, interior designers, architects, restaurants, hospitality groups, and commercial clients to bring custom furniture concepts to life.

We are seeking a motivated student interested in interior design, product development, marketing, entrepreneurship, or furniture design who wants hands-on experience within a growing company.

You'll work directly with company leadership and contribute to real projects that impact the business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with product development initiatives
  • Research furniture, interior design, and home décor trends
  • Help create and manage product listings for e-commerce websites
  • Assist with fabric and material organization
  • Support social media content creation and marketing campaigns
  • Photograph and document furniture projects
  • Conduct competitor and market research
  • Assist with website and product catalog updates
  • Support special projects across marketing, operations, and product development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in furniture, design, architecture, or home furnishings
  • Comfortable learning new software and systems
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Shopify, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Revit
  • Photography, videography, or social media experience
  • Previous involvement in design, marketing, or entrepreneurial projects
