Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team and support the accuracy and integrity of our administrative and operational data. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining information within company databases and systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in electronic databases and record systems.
  • Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Review and correct errors in records and documentation.
  • Organize, maintain, and retrieve digital files and records as needed.
  • Generate routine reports and assist with data audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding confidentiality and data security.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Perform quality control checks on entered information.
  • Support administrative projects and other clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or clerical work preferred.
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
