Tour Guide Specialist

Reno Outdoors is seeking enthusiastic, professional, and dependable individuals to join our tourism team. We specialize in guided history tours, sightseeing tours, and outdoor experiences throughout Reno, Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, and Northern Nevada.

This position is ideal for students interested in tourism, hospitality, history, geography, communications, education, and public speaking. As a Tour Guide & Guest Experience Specialist, you will help visitors discover the rich history, culture, landmarks, and natural beauty of Northern Nevada while creating memorable experiences for guests from around the world.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, assisting with tour operations, sharing historical and cultural information, highlighting important landmarks and points of interest, ensuring guest safety and comfort, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the tour experience.

The ideal candidate is friendly, confident, reliable, and comfortable speaking with groups. A passion for local history, storytelling, geography, tourism, and meeting people from different backgrounds is highly valued. Previous tour guide experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
