Legal Assistant Intern

Summer Internship- Legal Assistant

Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience within the field of Estate Planning? Our law firm Cal Estate Planning, PC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Administrator/Legal Assistant Intern to join our team for the summer,  and the position may be converted to a permanent job before or after the internship period. Our office is looking for students or recent graduates who want to develop practical skills in legal administration and office management within a supportive, fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Organize and maintain client files, records, and case documents.

Handle scheduling, calendar management, and coordination of meetings.

Draft, proofread, and format correspondence and legal documents.

Conduct basic research as needed.

Greet and assist clients, both in-person and over the phone.

Help with billing, data entry, and other office duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate (preferred fields: Pre-Law, Political Science, Business Administration, English or related).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Bonus if you are familiar with Word Perfect.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

 

Details:

Internship Duration: 8–12 weeks (June–August, flexible dates)

Hours: 3 days a week, 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)←

Compensation: San Francisco Minimum Wage (currently $19.18/hour)

Mandatory In-person attendance

Location: 2555 Ocean Ave, Suite 201, San Francisco, CA 94132
