Job description

Academically oriented internationally renowned fertility center with international clientele in NYC UES is seeking additional medical assistant for the Center for Human Reproduction's busy IVF program. Candidate MUST be able to draw blood, assist physicians during ultrasound and pelvic exams, Prior IVF experience and knowledge of a foreign language preferred but not an absolute prerequisite, as training will be required even with prior experience.

This position involves a large amount of close and independent interaction with patients and, therefore, requires professional and pleasant demeanor, good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to multitask. This is a full-time position, and candidates must be available to work on rotating weekends

Salary: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10- hour shift (Rotating weekends)
• 8-hour shift

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Required)
