Looking for (Skills):
Entry-level Complaints Investigation Technician with strong computer skills, ability to follow procedures, and aptitude to learn technical medical device investigations.
Must have Skills:
Strong computer proficiency
Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic PowerPoint knowledge
Ability to follow detailed procedures step-by-step
Strong attention to detail
Ability to retain and apply training information
Comfortable working with technical products and investigations
Good to have skills:
Complaint investigation experience
Laboratory experience
Engineering or science background
Experience following SOPs and protocols
Medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry exposure
Internship experience in technical or laboratory settings
Day to day activity:
Receive and process returned customer products
Perform product unpacking and inspection activities
Safely handle products containing sharps/needle components
Investigate customer complaints using troubleshooting guides
Document findings and complete investigation reports
Perform X-ray screening of returned products
Follow FDA-regulated investigation procedures
Support product sorting and complaint categorization activities
Education:
High School Diploma acceptable
Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree candidates considered
Engineering, Science, Laboratory, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related backgrounds preferred
Experience:
Entry-level role
Recent graduates encouraged to apply
Internship experience acceptable
Laboratory, technical, manufacturing, or engineering experience is a plus
Extensive medical device experience not required due to hands-on training provided
Interview:
Initial screening interview (phone/video for non-local candidates)
Onsite interview required
Product assessment/demo investigation exercise during interview process
1–2 interview rounds expected
