Production Scheduler

Reports To: General Manager

Position Summary

The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing daily and weekly production schedules to ensure efficient workflow, on-time delivery, and effective resource utilization across GinSan’s manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and adjust production schedules based on customer orders, inventory, and capacity.
• Coordinate scheduling for multiple product lines to balance workloads and minimize bottlenecks.
• Monitor production progress and update schedules to address delays or changes in priorities.
• Maintain accurate schedule data within ERP systems.
• Track and report KPIs such as schedule adherence, lead times, and capacity utilization.
• Identify scheduling inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
• Analyze production delays and support corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in production scheduling, materials planning, and/or job shop coordination.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow.
• Familiarity with Plex ERP system.
• Experience in a custom or high-mix/low-volume production environment.
• Proficiency in Excel or other data-analysis tools.

Compensation

Estimated Weekly Hours: 40 hours (varies with month/year end and seasonality)

Hourly Rate: $23-$27 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
