Purchasing Intern

This Position is to support the commodity purchasing department by contributing to key projects and day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new suppliers
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Participate in meetings, providing insights and feedback as required.
  • Maintain and update project documentation and records.
  • Support administrative tasks, such as gathering supplier documentation, managing TEMPO
  • Engage in problem-solving and process improvement activities.
  • Conduct research to support team initiatives and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP or procurement systems (e.g., TEMPO) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage documentation and records accurately.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of procurement, sourcing, or supplier management principles is preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to process improvements.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze findings, and present insights clearly.
  • Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
