Purchasing Intern
This Position is to support the commodity purchasing department by contributing to key projects and day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of new suppliers
- Collaborate with team members to analyze data and generate reports.
- Participate in meetings, providing insights and feedback as required.
- Maintain and update project documentation and records.
- Support administrative tasks, such as gathering supplier documentation, managing TEMPO
- Engage in problem-solving and process improvement activities.
- Conduct research to support team initiatives and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP or procurement systems (e.g., TEMPO) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage documentation and records accurately.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of procurement, sourcing, or supplier management principles is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to process improvements.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze findings, and present insights clearly.
- Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
