We are seeking a driven and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our growing Baton Rouge team. Position Overview
As an Outside Sales Representative at Parish Construction & Roofing, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by closing pre-scheduled appointments and generating your own leads through door-to-door prospecting, networking, and referrals. This is a commission-based role designed for high performers who are ready to take ownership of their success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and lead generation activities
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess roofing and exterior needs
- Climb ladders and perform roof inspections safely and confidently
- Provide accurate estimates and present customized solutions to homeowners and property managers
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet and exceed sales goals
- Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with project managers and crews to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, contracts, and project updates
- Stay informed about roofing products, insurance restoration processes, and market trends
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to travel throughout the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas for appointments
- Comfortable climbing ladders and performing roof inspections
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple customers and projects at once
- Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-driven
- Available Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Roofing sales experience preferred (1+ year required)
- Insurance claims experience is beneficial but not required
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Commission Only ($75,000–$150,000+ potential based on performance)
