Whizara is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Spanish Instructor to lead engaging Beginner Spanish classes for K–12 students this summer in Vista, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Teach Beginner Spanish classes for K–12 students using Whizara's structured curriculum
  • Introduce essential vocabulary, pronunciation, conversational Spanish, and basic grammar
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Encourage student participation through interactive activities and games
  • Support students with different learning styles and abilities
  • Monitor student progress and provide positive feedback
  • Maintain classroom organization and effective behavior management
  • Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and program coordinators
  • Arrive prepared and ready to deliver an exceptional classroom experience

 

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in Spanish (native, heritage, fluent, or strong intermediate speakers encouraged to apply)
  • Passion for language learning, education, and working with children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, patient, and professional attitude
  • Ability to lead and engage groups of K–12 students
  • Prior teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth experience is a plus—but not required
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in the classroom
