Summer camp outdoor activities instructor wanted!
Camp Takajo is seeking an experienced outdoor activities instructor with a passion for the hiking, camping, climbing and being outdoors. This position is ideal outdoor science majors and those with a passion for the outdoors who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and working with children in an energetic setting.
Position Details
Location: Naples, Maine
Dates: June 10 – August 13, 2026
Compensation: starting at $400 per week dependent on experience
Type: Seasonal, Full-Time, Live onsite

Responsibilities
Teach camping, climbing, and outdoor wildness safety
Co-lead hiking multiple hiking trips weekly, supervising campers on the trail
Plan and carry out overnight camping experiences
Foster confidence and water safety among campers
Qualifications
Outdoor adventure/activity experience preferred
Ability to pass Wilderness CPR and First Aid training program
Comfortable being in wilderness
Strong leadership and communication skills
Enthusiastic, dependable, and enjoys working with children
