Worship Director — Nags Head Church (Outer Banks, NC)

Help us lead a growing church into its next season.

Something is happening at Nags Head Church. Our services are running near capacity, we're preparing to launch a third service, and God is sending us new people every week. Worship is at the center of how we welcome them, disciple them, and send them out.

You wouldn't be starting from scratch. We have a worship team of roughly 12 musicians and vocalists already serving — some with us for more than 20 years, most for 5+, a few newer to the team. They rotate weeks on and off, and the skill range runs from highly accomplished to solidly capable. They know how to serve. They're ready for someone to lead them into what's next.

We're looking for a Worship Director who feels at home in this kind of moment — someone who leads with confidence from the platform and sits across the table from a longtime team member and makes them feel seen. Someone who builds teams, raises up other leaders, and reads a room the way most people read a book.

You'd be leading worship at all weekend services, partnering with our Lead Pastor on service design, and helping our team grow deep enough to carry us through this growth season. Within a year, we want to see another worship leader regularly leading alongside you and a team culture where people describe you not just as their scheduler, but as their pastor.
