Baseball Coach

Summer camp baseball coached wanted!

Camp Takajo is seeking an experienced baseball coach with a passion for the sport. This position is ideal for current or former athletes and coaches who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and working with children in an energetic setting.

Position Details

Location: Naples, Maine

Dates: June 10 – August 13, 2026

Compensation: starting at $400 per week dependent on experience

Type: Seasonal, Full-Time, Live onsite

Travel assistance provided

Responsibilities

Teach and develop baseball skills and fundamentals for campers ages 7–15

Co-lead a baseball program with up to 100 children participating

Plan and carry out structured baseball skills instruction, drills and activities for various ages and levels daily

Coach intra-camp and travel-team games

Foster teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship among campers

 

Qualifications

High-school or collegiate playing/coaching experience in baseball

Strong leadership and communication skills

Enthusiastic, dependable, and enjoys working with children

 

Camp Takajo, located in Naples, Maine, is a summer's long overnight camp founded in 1947.
