Art Teacher

Stamford is seeking a dedicated and accomplished K-12th grade Art Teacher who will encourage our students to develop their aesthetic understanding and appreciation while simultaneously developing their artistic skills and talents. In filling this art opening, we are looking for a practitioner who inspires our students in the visual arts and who will continue to grow and deepen our current art curriculum.

Responsibilities include teaching the NYS art standards and curriculum while using formal and informal assessment tools to measure students’ progress, while having the ability to individualize instruction according to each student’s needs to meet a high standard of achievement.
