Music Teacher (Vocal)

Charlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Music Teacher. The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging music instruction while fostering creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide high-quality music instruction to students in assigned grade levels.

• Develop and implement engaging standards aligned lessons.

• Direct and coordinate vocal music programs.

• Prepare students for concerts, performances, and school/community events.

• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with faculty, staff, families, and community partners to support student success.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and growth.

Qualifications:
Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in Music Education.

Compensation:
The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $51,453 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits.
