Mechanical Engineering Intern

Position Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our engineering team and gain hands-on experience supporting real-world projects across testing, validation, and system improvements.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced engineers while contributing to active engineering initiatives, not just shadowing.

This job will need to sit in Louisville, KY with an in-office appearance 3x week. 

Responsibilities

• Organize, transfer, and validate engineering data and documentation
• Support standardization of engineering file systems
• Assist with test setup, execution, and documentation
• Collect and analyze data to support design improvements
• Ensure accurate tracking of engineering processes and results
• Support continuous improvement and system modifications
• Assist engineers in testing and validating updates
• Support testing and validation of mechanical systems
