University Housing Facilities – Summer Facilities U-Crew Staff
University Housing Facilities is seeking Facilities U-Crew staff members for the summer season. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working in a supportive team environment.
Employment Dates
June 1st, 2026 – August 28, 2026
Pay Rate
Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour
Weekly Hours
- Up to 40 hours per week
Typical Schedule
- Daytime shifts only
- Start times may be as early as 6:00 AM
- Shift lengths and schedules may vary based on operational needs
- Flexible scheduling available
- No evenings or weekends required

Primary Duties
- Power washing buildings, sidewalks, and other surfaces
- Remove, clean, and reinstall windows (inside and outside)
- Clean window tracks and repair window screens
- Maintain water softener salt levels
- Assist with room setup and takedown
- Extract carpets and assist with floor care
- Perform custodial tasks including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning walls, windows, floors, and carpets
- Use basic hand tools as needed
Additional Skills Helpful but Not Required
- Drive University Housing vehicles (valid driver's license required)
- Operate University Housing Kubota utility vehicles (driver's license not required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
