ECF Engineering Consultants is a full-service engineering firm that specializes in providing technical solution services to the Energy Markets, as well as public and private sectors, requiring electrical and mechanical engineering support.

We serve those entities on an array of projects, offering consultation on technology utilization, design solutions for electrical and mechanical systems, public health systems, and equipment procurement and construction phase services.

General Description of Position

Uses CAD systems to generate detailed designs for construction.

Essential Functions of Position

1. May have working knowledge of the practices and procedures pertaining to technical matters in three (1) or more of the following areas:

a. Electrical Engineering

b. Civil Engineering

c. Mechanical Engineering

d. Instrumentation and Control

e. Protective Relaying

f. Transmission Design

g. Distribution Design

h. Substation Design

i. MEP Design

j. Surveying

k. GIS and Mapping

l. CADD

2. Shall perform with supervision, a variety of design related duties including, but not limited to, the following:

a. Prepare manual or computer assisted design and construction drawings of a complex nature with neatness and a minimum of errors.

b. Perform design services requiring a full understanding of drawings, specifications, and industry and Company standards covering the assigned work.

c. May be asked to acquire on-site field data to accomplish the design or to monitor and evaluate equipment performance.

3. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

1. Associate Degree in related field desired.

2. 0 to 2 years of experience in engineering of related projects.

3. Experience with system design software, CADD and Microsoft Office products required.

4. Willingness to travel for site surveys, project scope walks and meetings
