Founding Business Development Representative
As one of our first US commercial hires, you will own the top of the funnel for our expansion in the United States. You will identify and reach decision-makers at pension funds, asset managers, and asset owners, run outbound sequences, qualify inbound interest, and book discovery calls for the founding team. This is a high-ownership seat with a direct line to the CEO and to real client conversations from day one.
What you will do
Build and execute outbound campaigns to US pension funds, asset managers, and asset owners. Research target accounts and personalize outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone. Use LLMs and automation tools to scale your research, personalization, and follow-up without sacrificing quality. Qualify inbound leads from our website, events, and industry channels. Book and prepare discovery calls for the founding team. Track activity and pipeline in our CRM and report weekly on conversion. Feed market signals back to product, marketing, and the founders.
Who we are looking for
We are open on years of experience. We care more about how you think and how you work than what is on your resume. You might be a recent graduate with a strong interest in sustainable finance, a career switcher from financial services, or someone with prior BDR or SDR experience at a B2B SaaS company. Strong candidates will bring:
Proficiency with LLMs (Claude, Gemini) and automation tools, and a real curiosity to push how far they can take a workflow.
Autonomy and accountability. You can take a goal, break it into a plan, and ship it without being managed step by step. When something goes wrong, you own it.
Open-mindedness. You are willing to test new approaches, kill what is not working, and double down on what is. You do not assume the playbook from your last job is the right one here.
Excellent written and verbal English. French is a plus.
Curiosity about institutional investing and corporate governance.
Comfort with cold outreach and the resilience to keep going.
A track record of taking initiative in school, work, or side projects.
A genuine interest in joining an early-stage team and growing with the company.
