Independent Contractor (1099) with part-time opportunities available

Are you a passionate and reliable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who enjoys working with children and making a lasting difference in their lives? Optimum Speech Language Services is seeking motivated independent contractors to join our growing team. We are currently looking for SLPs interested in part time, 1099 opportunities providing services in daycares, preschool programs and ABA centers.

What You'll Do

• Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services for pediatric clients
• Develop individualized treatment plans and functional communication goals
• Travel to client locations throughout Concord, Kannapolis, and surrounding areas, with occasional opportunities in Charlotte if interested
• Collaborate with families, teachers, ABA providers, and other professionals
• Provide caregiver education and home programming recommendations
• Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and required documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain communication regarding client progress and service needs

Ideal Candidate

• Holds an active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License
• Possesses an active NPI number
• Maintains current professional liability insurance
• Is already credentialed with NC Medicaid or is prepared to participate in group credentialing
• Has experience working with pediatric populations
• Has experience in daycare, school, early intervention, or ABA settings preferred
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
• Is self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
• Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel between service locations
• Successfully passes a background check
