Position Overview
Successful State Farm Agency is seeking qualified professionals to join our winning team for the position of New Business Development – Agent Aspirant. We are committed to making a positive impact in our community through value based conversations and remarkable customer service that helps people protect and invest in their future. You will learn product knowledge, sales techniques and strategies designed to develop you in to a high producing agent that helps our customers and prospects. This position allows you to experience first-hand what it takes to own and operate a small business and to pursue and opportunity to become an agency owner yourself. Objectives of this Position
· Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
· Help people protect against key financial risks in order to help them achieve their short and long-term financial goals.

· Network and build relationships that will obtain new customers and retain existing customers
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain thorough company and product knowledge, uncover customer needs, and identify solutions to meet those needs
· Generate new business by prospecting for clients through internet leads, networking, cold calling and referrals
· Learning how to network effectively
· Use a customer-focused, needs based review process to educate customers about insurance and financial service options.
· Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services including: Property, Casualty, Life, Health, Banking and Mutual Funds

Our training program includes:
· Learning to market property/casualty, life and health products
· Setting sales and growth goals
· Working closely with the agent to gain an understanding of the agent’s role and office logistics
· Learning how to network effectively by building relationships and centers of influence to create referral sources
