Surgical Theater – Summer Marketing Intern (Remote)

Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Compensation: Unpaid Internship (Potential incentive opportunities tied to qualified sales appointment setting)

 

About the Internship:
Surgical Theater is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support strategic outreach and business development initiatives during Summer 2026. This internship is ideal for an undergraduate or graduate student studying Marketing, communications, Business, or related field, who is looking to gain hands-on experience in research-driven, personalized outreach, and healthcare technology sales support. 

The intern will work directly with the VP of Marketing to support targeted lead generation campaigns focused on surgeons, hospital systems, and healthcare decision-makers. This role combines market research, strategic communication, and outreach coordination within a fast-paced medical technology environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on prospective clients and target audiences
  • Assist with personalized email outreach initiatives
  • Support organic marketing and business development efforts
  • Help identify marketing opportunities and trends
  • Collaborate directly with the VP of Marketing on ongoing projects

Qualifications:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent research and analytical abilities
  • Detail oriented with strong follow-through and time management
  • Comfortable communicating professionally through email and digital platforms
  • Interest in healthcare, medical technology, marketing strategy or business development
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
