Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer Experience: 10+ Years
Location: Remote / Hybrid / Onsite
Employment Type: W2 Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to drive our infrastructure strategy, automation initiatives, and platform reliability at scale. This role goes beyond managing pipelines — you will architect resilient systems, champion DevSecOps culture, and be a technical leader bridging development, operations, and security teams. If you think in systems, build for failure, and automate everything — this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS / Azure / GCP
- Design and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software delivery
- Lead infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS / AKS / GKE) at enterprise scale
- Implement and own observability strategy — metrics, logs, traces — using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and ELK Stack
- Embed security into the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps) — vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance automation
- Drive platform engineering initiatives including internal developer platforms (IDPs) and golden path tooling
- Lead incident response, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and blameless post-mortems
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level DevOps engineers
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to improve deployment frequency and reduce lead time
- Evaluate and introduce new tooling aligned with current industry best practices
- Manage cost optimization strategies for cloud environments
