Social Media & Legal Assistant

We are seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media & Legal Intern to join our team part-time. This unique role is ideal for a college student (studying Marketing, Communications, Pre-Law, or Business) who wants hands-on experience in a professional legal environment, with a heavy emphasis on driving our digital presence while assisting with light office administration.

While you will get real-world exposure to the legal field, a primary focus of this role will be managing our social media platforms, creating content, and helping grow our online brand, all while supporting administrative tasks in the office.

Responsibilities include:

Social Media & Content Creation: Managing our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.); brainstorming, designing, and scheduling engaging content; drafting posts, creating basic graphics, and filming/editing short-form video content (Reels/TikToks).

Digital Branding: Monitoring engagement, responding professionally to comments/messages, and finding creative ways to showcase our firm’s culture and expertise.

Case & Administrative Support: Assisting attorneys and staff with file organization, data entry, and scanning.

Communication: Answering phones, greeting clients, and communicating professionally via email and phone.

Writing & Proofreading: Drafting basic legal correspondence, office memos, and proofreading blog posts or newsletters.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled college student (Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Pre-Law tracks are a major plus).

Strong social media savvy: Experience managing social media platforms and a good eye for visual layout, content trends, and digital storytelling (experience with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe is a plus).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (you can write a witty caption just as well as a professional email).

High level of organization and attention to detail.

Professional, reliable, discreet with confidential information, and eager to learn.

Why Apply:

Flexible Schedule: Part-time hours designed to accommodate your class schedule and campus involvement.

Diverse Portfolio Building: Gain unique, resume-building experience that blends professional legal services with modern digital marketing.
