Manager of Government Affairs
The Manager of Government Affairs contributes to the development and execution of strategic outreach, advocacy, and communications efforts that support the Iowa League of Cities' legislative objectives. This position fosters strong relationships with local officials and state lawmakers, builds advocacy capacity within Iowa's cities, and advances the League's public affairs initiatives under the direction of the Director of Government Affairs. The Manager of Government Affairs represents the League and its membership before policymakers and stakeholders, supports grassroots engagement efforts, and contributes to the strategy, direction, and success of the League's overall legislative program.
