The Opportunity
At Nest Egg, becoming an Advisor is the goal, and the path is real and the pace is honest. Specialists who commit to it move into a full Advisor role in 6 to 24 months, depending on prior experience, performance, and licensing. The Advisors on our team today walked this exact path.
Day to day, you'll be the face of Nest Egg, front and center with clients from the start. You'll be the welcoming first connection for clients and prospects, often face-to-face via video or chat. Over time, you'll learn how to manage their accounts, help them make sound investment decisions, open and fund accounts, watch for when changes may be needed, and spot opportunities for deeper relationships. Each of these skills builds the foundation that lets you step into the Advisor role seamlessly when you're ready.
Nest Egg will support you in building your financial expertise, including helping you earn investment licenses like the SIE. Additional licenses (Series 63/65/66, Series 7, insurance) follow as you're ready.
Initial responsibilities include:
- Engage with clients and prospects through video, chat, and calls, addressing their needs with care and professionalism.
- Field incoming and make outgoing video chats, text chats, and calls for new and existing clients.
- Build customer relationships, identifying opportunities to help clients further.
- Lead account openings and manage ongoing account activities.
- Understand Nest Egg’s financial products, including matching clients with the right products and servicing nuances by product.
Expertise We’re Looking For
- At least one year of customer-facing experience (full-time, summer roles, internships, or part-time) plus a background in finance through coursework, internships, or work experience. Alternatively, one year at a large financial firm in any client-facing role.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Comfortable with high volume work while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfortable using multiple technology platforms, including G Suite and CRMs; proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Energy for engaging with a wide variety of people, often on video.
Location - Hybrid
Our office is in Conshohocken, PA. Core hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm, though our advisors think in terms of clients, not clocks. We're in the office Monday through Wednesday with Thursday and Friday from home.
