$60,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Summary
The Middle School Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based
science instruction that promotes inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills for students
in grades 7–8.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Plan and implement standards-aligned science lessons and laboratory activities.
● Foster student engagement through hands-on and inquiry-based instruction.
● Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners.
Maintain a safe classroom and laboratory environment.
● Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction.
● Communicate effectively with families and staff.
● Participate in professional development and collaborative planning.
● Maintain accurate records and documentation.
● Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Qualifications
Required
● Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
● Appropriate New Jersey Department of Education certification for Middle School
Science.
● Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Preferred
● Experience teaching middle school science.
● Familiarity with STEM-based instruction and laboratory safety procedures.
