Salary Range
$60,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Summary
The Middle School Math Teacher is responsible for providing engaging and rigorous
mathematics instruction to students in grades 7–8. The teacher will foster a positive classroom
environment, support student growth, and implement curriculum aligned with New Jersey
Student Learning Standards and school expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Plan and deliver standards-aligned mathematics instruction for middle school students.
● Utilize data to inform instruction and monitor student progress.

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
● Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
● Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and structured classroom environment.
● Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff regarding student progress and
needs.
● Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events.
● Implement accommodations and modifications as required by student plans.
● Integrate educational technology into instruction.
● Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Qualifications
Required
● Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
● Appropriate New Jersey Department of Education certification for Middle School
Mathematics.
● Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Preferred
● Experience teaching middle school mathematics.
● Familiarity with Illustrative Mathematics curriculum.
