Senior AI Product Engineer

A high-growth SaaS company in San Francisco is seeking a Senior AI Product Engineer to build next-generation AI-powered product experiences. This role is ideal for an experienced full-stack engineer who can transform advanced AI capabilities into intuitive, customer-facing features. You'll work at the intersection of AI, product development, and user experience, helping shape how enterprises interact with intelligent software.
 

Role:

🚀 Design and develop AI-powered product features across the full stack using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.

🚀 Build intelligent user experiences including streaming chat interfaces, AI assistants, automated workflows, and real-time interactions.

🚀 Partner closely with AI engineers to integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, agent-based systems, and AI services into customer-facing products.

🚀 Create scalable UI patterns, reusable components, and AI-focused product frameworks.

🚀 Improve product observability by tracking engagement, performance, latency, and AI feature effectiveness.

🚀 Build feedback systems that capture user insights and improve AI output quality.

🚀 Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering teams to deliver innovative AI experiences.

🚀 Mentor engineers and contribute to best practices for AI product development.
 

Requirements:

✅ 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production-grade full-stack applications.

✅ 2+ years of experience building AI-powered products and customer-facing AI features.

✅ Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript, modern frontend architecture, and interactive user experiences.

✅ Strong backend development experience using Node.js, Python, and API-driven architectures.

✅ Hands-on experience with LLM platforms, prompt engineering, AI workflows, and production AI applications.

✅ Familiarity with RAG systems, AI agents, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks.

✅ Experience implementing real-time streaming technologies such as WebSockets, SSE, or streaming APIs.

✅ Strong product mindset with a focus on usability, customer experience, and business impact.

✅ Proven ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, product, and AI teams.

✅ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
