Lead Teacher
Lead Teacher: Are you an innovative and initiative-taking teacher? If so, ECDO, Forever Harlem would like to invite you to join our team. We value and focus on the highest quality of education for every child enrolled at our center. The lead teacher will work with the Administrative and Educational Directors and the Assistant teachers to ensure that all educational objectives are met in a safe, stimulating, and state-of-the art environment. The Lead teacher must, at a minimum, have a high school diploma and college coursework in early childhood education and or an active study plan for certification in ECE with the goal of obtaining certification. MUST have previous teaching experience in an Early Learn/Head Start program and/or a certified daycare/educational center. Must be a high-energy individual and be able to demonstrate the delivery and understanding of early childhood development educational techniques. Must be a flexible team player and have the ability to follow directions and to interact with children in a nurturing, appropriate, and positive manner. Clearance from the Department of Investigation, SCR Statewide Central Register Database Check, and current medical records are necessary. Salary will be based on education and previously demonstrated employment experience.
