DESIGN ASSISTANT NEEDED

 

A luxury residential interior design firm in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking a Design Assistant

This position is ideal for an outstanding professional who has mastered technical rendering and construction drawing skills and a great eye for choosing FF&E. This is a full-time on-site position with an outstanding and friendly team.

 

Requirements & Responsibilities:

Associates or Bachelors Degree in Interior Design or related

AutoCAD and Revit background.

Rendering ability

Construction drawing knowledge

2+ years of Residential Interior Design experience

Experience in design showrooms, products or design industry procurement desired

Interior Design vendor knowledge a plus

Must live within reasonable distance to the Ridgewood area as this is an in person job.

Must be a natural relationship builder and have a polished and personable communication style

Must have a professional, elegant and polished personal presence

Must have personal stability and long term career potential

Keep the design resource library and design studio organized and clean

Conduct on-site observations and measurements

Demonstrates understanding of smart space planning

Character Strengths:

Creative eye for piecing together a luxury design experience

Professional and polished presence

Gifted at building and maintaining professional relationships

Expert grammar and spelling skills

Highly organized, process and detail oriented

Must have a track record of precision in your work

Must be technically savvy

Gifted in multi-tasking in a fast paced environment

Must be effectual at coordinating and communicating with vendors

Must have a high level of personal stability
