Position Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our in-office team. This role is designed for individuals beginning their careers in public accounting who are eager to develop technical tax expertise and gain exposure to a wide range of client engagements.

The role provides progressive responsibility, beginning with supervised tax preparation and expanding into independent work and client interaction.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns under supervision
  • Assist with bookkeeping and reconciliation of client accounting records
  • Support trial balance preparation and workpaper documentation
  • Organize and analyze financial data for compliance and reporting purposes
  • Assist with client communication and internal coordination
  • Conduct basic tax research and support compliance projects
  • Manage assigned workflow and meet deadlines independently
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 0–3 years of experience (internships in tax/accounting preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Exposure to Lacerte, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time in-office (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM)
  • Willingness to work extended hours during tax season
