Job Summary

Primary tasks include objective grading, recruitment support, research, running Scantrons, updating records and databases, campus errands, copying, and filing.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining promotional materials, assisting with setup/tear down, and aiding faculty in recruitment at Academic Fairs
  • Creating posters for events
  • Creating keys and grading objective assignments for faculty
  • Aiding faculty in research (varies depending on semester and projects)
  • Updating records and databases
  • Running campus errands
  • Making copies, collating documents, creating material packets

 

Required Qualifications

  • Must be detail oriented, demonstrate strong academic record, and able to work independently.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Students who are COM majors and have experience or have taken COM courses in social media, Photography, or Publication Design.

 

Training

The training varies depending on the student's experience. Basic training is provided the first week by the academic secretary. Training for social media, research, grading, etc. will be provided by the relevant faculty member and varies according to the task and student experience.
