Strategic Growth Associate
Position Summary
The Strategic Growth Associate is an entry-level professional responsible for supporting KIRCO MANIX's growth initiatives by identifying prospective clients, building relationships, researching market opportunities, and helping generate new business opportunities across commercial construction markets.
This role is ideal for a recent college graduate who is interested in construction, real estate development, sales, marketing, and relationship management. The Associate will work closely with company leadership, project teams, and marketing professionals to gain exposure to all aspects of business development and construction operations while developing the skills necessary for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Support
- Research prospective clients, projects, and market opportunities.
- Maintain and update CRM databases and prospect lists.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities within target markets.
- Track leads, opportunities, and business development activities.
- Support follow-up communications with prospective clients.
Relationship Building
- Attend industry events, networking functions, trade associations, and conferences.
- Develop relationships with brokers, consultants, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Represent KIRCO MANIX in a professional manner at external events.
- Support client engagement activities and relationship-building initiatives.
Market Research
- Monitor industry trends, construction activity, economic development projects, and market opportunities.
- Research target industries including manufacturing, industrial, logistics, healthcare, and commercial real estate.
- Prepare market intelligence reports and summaries for leadership.
Marketing & Proposal Support
- Partner with Marketing on proposal development, presentations, and pursuit materials.
- Assist with content creation for social media, project announcements, and client communications.
- Help coordinate client meetings, presentations, and company events.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Preconstruction, Marketing, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Participate in project meetings to gain exposure to construction processes and client needs.
- Support strategic growth initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred in:
- Business Administration
- Marketing

- Real Estate Development
- Construction Management
- Finance
- Related field
Experience
- Internship experience preferred.
- 0-3 years of professional experience.
- Prior sales, customer service, recruiting, fundraising, athletics, or leadership experience is a plus.
